VA Migraine Claim Evidence: What to Organize

Evidence to organize

Diagnosis, treatment notes, medication history, and relevant neurological or primary-care records.

A contemporaneous headache log showing frequency, duration, symptoms, treatment, and activity limitations.

Employment, attendance, school, or other records that may document functional effects when relevant.

Lay statements from people who directly observe migraine episodes or their impact.

  2. 02What symptoms accompany an episode and what treatment is used?
  3. 03What activities are limited or interrupted during an episode?
