Terms of Service
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Important — Mission Claim is independent from VA.
Mission ClaimReady™ is an independent technology, education, and workflow platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or the U.S. Department of Defense. Mission Claim software does not by itself create a representation relationship.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mission ClaimReady™ ("Mission Claim," "Platform," or "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to Veterans, family members, professionals, organizations, and other users.
2. Technology Platform — Not VA and Not Automatically Your Representative
Mission Claim provides education, organization tools, workflow software, electronic-signature functions, AI-assisted features, communications, and integrations. Mission Claim is not the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), is not affiliated with or endorsed by VA, and does not become your attorney, claims agent, VSO, or representative merely because you use the Platform. VA-accredited attorneys and claims agents may independently use Mission Claim to serve their own clients. A representation relationship requires the separate authority, appointment, and agreements applicable to that professional relationship. Mission Claim does not guarantee a rating, award, effective date, processing time, or other VA outcome.
3. Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to maintain a Mission Claim account. You are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting your credentials, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized account access.
4. Free and Paid Services
Mission Claim may offer free and paid features. Pricing, billing periods, included features, and cancellation terms are shown with the applicable plan or order. We may change pricing prospectively with notice where required. Professional fees for VA representation, if any, are separate from Mission Claim software charges and are governed by applicable law and a separate professional agreement.
5. AI-Assisted Features
AI-assisted features are tools, not final decision-makers. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a specific claim. Users and accredited professionals must review and verify output before relying on it or submitting information to VA. AI output is not a guarantee of eligibility, legal advice from Mission Claim, or a substitute for professional judgment.
6. SMS and Email
Mission Claim separates service communications from marketing. Consent to case-related SMS may authorize account, appointment, security, administrative, and claim-workflow messages. It does not authorize marketing texts. Marketing SMS, if offered, requires separate consent. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Service-related email may be used for account access, appointments, documents, signatures, security, and requested workflows. Optional marketing communications are handled separately.
7. Veteran Data and Privacy
Mission Claim does not sell or rent Veteran personal information, claim information, health information, uploaded documents, or AI conversation data to advertisers or data brokers. Our collection, use, sharing, retention, security, and deletion practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
8. VA Transactions and Electronic Signatures
When you initiate or authorize a VA submission, retrieval, electronic-signature workflow, or other integration, you authorize Mission Claim to process and transmit the information reasonably necessary to perform that requested action. You are responsible for reviewing information and documents before submission or signature. VA and other systems may be delayed, unavailable, changed, or may reject a submission. A technical transmission confirmation does not guarantee VA acceptance or a favorable outcome.
9. Professional Users
Attorneys, VA-accredited claims agents, professional organizations, and authorized staff using professional features must also agree to the Mission Claim Professional Services Agreement. Professional users remain responsible for accreditation, supervision, professional judgment, representation authority, filings, deadlines, confidentiality, fee compliance, recordkeeping, and review of AI-assisted work.
10. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Mission Claim to: • Submit false or fraudulent information. • Impersonate another person or organization. • Access another user's information without authority. • Circumvent authentication, authorization, rate limits, security controls, or duplicate-request protections. • Scrape, crawl, or extract protected data through unauthorized automated means. • Sell, exploit, or use Veteran claim or health information for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes. • Use the Platform in violation of applicable law or VA requirements.
11. Intellectual Property
Mission Claim software, branding, original content, and platform functionality are owned by Mission Claim or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative commercial products from protected Platform materials except as permitted by law or written agreement.
12. Availability and Third-Party Services
Mission Claim depends on infrastructure, communications, payment, signature, and government systems that may experience outages, maintenance, or changes. We may modify or discontinue features when needed for security, legal compliance, provider changes, or product development. Third-party and VA services are governed by their own availability, terms, and technical requirements.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mission Claim is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Platform, including lost profits, loss of data, or denial of VA benefits. Any limitation is subject to rights that cannot legally be waived.
14. Account Closure, Retention, and Permanent Deletion
You may cancel your Mission Claim account and may request access, export, correction, or permanent deletion of data through https://missionclaim.com/data-rights. After a verified deletion request, Mission Claim will permanently delete 100% of the user data under Mission Claim's control, including VA-derived and non-VA data, within 45 days. Ordinary dormant-account retention is described in the Privacy Policy. Deleting data from Mission Claim does not remove information that you previously directed us to transmit to VA or to an independent professional's separate record system.
15. Suspension and Security
Mission Claim may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, suspected unauthorized access, unlawful use, threats to Veteran data, abuse of Platform services, or violations of these Terms. We may require re-verification before restoring access.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable federal law and the law applicable to the Mission Claim contracting entity, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where another law must apply.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as the Platform changes. We post the updated date at the top of this page. Material changes may require users to review and accept a new version before continuing to authenticated services.
18. Charitable Contributions
Mission Claim may provide information or links relating to nonprofit organizations. A charitable contribution is voluntary and is not payment for Mission Claim software, VA claim assistance, professional representation, faster service, priority, or a favorable outcome. Mission Claim does not condition access or service on a donation.
