Your Veteran and claim data is not for sale.

Mission Claim does not sell Veteran personal information, claim or health information, uploaded documents, mobile numbers, or AI conversation data to advertisers or data brokers.

1. Introduction

Mission ClaimReady™ ("Mission Claim," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, who receives it, how long we keep it, and how you can ask us to access, correct, export, or permanently delete your data. Mission Claim is an independent technology platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). We send information to VA only when you or an authorized representative directs or authorizes a VA transaction.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use, Mission Claim may process: • Account and contact information: name, email, phone number, organization, role, preferences, and authentication records. • Military-service information: branch, service dates, and other service details you provide. • VA claim and representation information: claimed conditions, ratings, effective dates, decisions, VA file or claim identifiers, appointment information, representation status, submissions, and workflow status. • Health and disability information: medical records, treatment information, symptoms, examinations, DBQs, diagnoses, and supporting evidence that you choose to provide. • Identity information needed for an authorized transaction: date of birth, mailing address, ZIP code, Social Security number, VA file number, or similar identifiers when the transaction requires them. • Documents and signatures: uploaded files, prepared forms, signer identity information, signatures, timestamps, and audit records. • Communications: portal messages, email, SMS consent and opt-out records, support communications, notes, and task activity. • AI-assisted feature content: prompts, responses, and information you intentionally provide to an AI-assisted feature. • Payment and billing information: subscription status, amounts, invoices, receipts, and payment status. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe when Stripe checkout is used; Mission Claim does not intentionally store full payment-card numbers. • Technical and security information: IP address, browser or device information, session and authentication events, request metadata, security events, and audit logs. Mission Claim does not access your phone's address book or device contacts by default. We do not collect precise device geolocation by default. Location-based tools may use a ZIP code, city, or other location you enter.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide and secure the services you request; organize matters, evidence, forms, deadlines, billing, communications, and signatures; operate authorized professional workflows; provide AI-assisted features you choose to use; prevent fraud and unauthorized access; maintain audit records; troubleshoot and improve reliability; comply with applicable law; and complete VA transactions that you or an authorized representative direct. We do not use Veteran claim or health information for targeted advertising. We do not treat permission for one VA transaction as permission for unrelated uses.

4. SMS and Email Communications

Mission Claim separates service communications from marketing. Case-related SMS may include account, appointment, administrative, security, and claim-workflow messages after appropriate consent is recorded. Consent to case-related SMS does not authorize marketing texts. Marketing SMS, if offered, uses a separate consent record and separate workflow. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Mission Claim may send service-related email needed for account access, appointments, documents, signatures, requested services, security, and claim workflows. Optional marketing communications use separate preference controls where applicable.

5. We Do Not Sell Veteran Data

Mission Claim does not sell or rent Veteran personal information, claim information, health information, military records, uploaded documents, mobile numbers, or AI conversation data to advertisers, data brokers, or marketers. We do not use claim or health information for targeted advertising. We may use aggregated or de-identified operational information to understand product reliability, usage, security, or performance. We do not sell de-identified Veteran claim data for advertising, and we do not intentionally re-identify de-identified information for marketing.

6. Who Receives Information

We disclose information only when needed for a requested service, an authorized workflow, security, payment processing, or legal compliance. Current categories and providers may include: • Base44 — application hosting, authentication, database, private-file operations, server functions, and platform-integrated AI processing where an AI feature is used. • Cloudflare — DNS, TLS/HTTPS, network-edge delivery, and security-related connection metadata. • Resend — email delivery and inbound email handling. • SignalHouse and/or Twilio — SMS delivery when the applicable SMS feature is used. • Stripe — payment processing and checkout when a paid feature or store purchase uses Stripe. • Mission Claim Sign and supporting hosting infrastructure — electronic-signature document delivery, signing, completion records, and audit information. • The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs — only for a VA transaction you or an authorized representative directs or authorizes. • Your selected attorney, accredited claims agent, authorized professional organization, or approved staff — when that person or organization has authorized access to your matter. We may also disclose information when required by valid legal process or to protect the security and integrity of the Platform. We do not share Veteran data with third-party marketers for their own marketing use.

7. Security

Mission Claim uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for sensitive Veteran information. Safeguards include HTTPS transport, server-side credential storage, role- and organization-based authorization, private document access, short-lived document links where applicable, audit records, duplicate-request protections for sensitive workflows, and restricted access to integration secrets. No system can guarantee absolute security. Users and professional organizations must also protect their credentials, devices, and authorized-user access. See our Security & Trust page for more detail.

8. Data Retention

Mission Claim keeps active-account data while it is needed to provide requested services, maintain an active matter, operate a paid account, or support an authorized professional workflow. For a personal Mission Claim account that is dormant and has no active matter, paid subscription, unresolved security issue, or other active service relationship, Mission Claim may retain account data for up to 24 months after the last account activity before deleting or de-identifying it. Professional organizations may have independent legal or professional recordkeeping duties for their own client files. Data that you directed Mission Claim to send to VA or to an independent professional may remain in those recipients' systems under their own retention rules.

9. Permanent Deletion Requests

You may request permanent deletion at any time. After we verify your request, Mission Claim will permanently delete 100% of the user data under Mission Claim's control, including VA-derived data and non-VA data, within 45 days of the verified request. To make this easy, use the Privacy & Data Rights page at https://missionclaim.com/data-rights while signed in. If you cannot access your account, email support@notify.missionclaim.com from the email address associated with your account. Deletion from Mission Claim does not delete information that you previously directed us to send to VA or to an independent professional's separate record system. Those recipients control their own records.

10. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location and account relationship, you may request: • Access to personal information associated with your account. • Correction of inaccurate account information. • Export of information associated with your account. • Permanent deletion of data under Mission Claim's control. • Opt-out from optional marketing communications. Use https://missionclaim.com/data-rights or contact support@notify.missionclaim.com. Do not send Social Security numbers, VA file numbers, passwords, medical records, or authentication codes by email.

11. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies needed for authentication, security, preferences, session continuity, and Platform operation. We do not use claim or health information for targeted advertising. Authenticated claim-workflow areas are designed to avoid intentionally sending claim documents, health information, VA identifiers, or similar sensitive content to advertising systems.

12. AI, Signatures, and Integrations

When you use an AI-assisted feature, the information you intentionally provide may be processed to generate the requested output. AI output can contain errors and should be reviewed before use. Electronic-signature workflows may process signer identity, document content, signature information, timestamps, and audit records. VA integrations may exchange only the information needed for the authorized VA transaction. Connected professional integrations are limited to the scopes and purposes enabled for that connection.

13. Security Incidents

Mission Claim maintains an incident-response process for suspected unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, or misuse. Our process includes triage, containment, credential or session revocation when appropriate, preservation of relevant security records, investigation, remediation, and legally required notices. If you believe your Mission Claim account or data may have been compromised, contact support@notify.missionclaim.com promptly and do not include sensitive claim information in ordinary email.

14. Children's Privacy

Mission Claim is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly create child accounts for use of the Platform. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Mission Claim, contact us so we can review and address it.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Mission Claim changes. We post the updated date at the top of this page. Material policy changes may require users to review and acknowledge a new version before continuing to authenticated services.
